We are in our RV a LOT. Laundry can be an issue. I purchased a small Zeny washer from Amazon, but had no way of drying some clothes once they were washed. Also, I didn't want to screw holes into my new RV. I purchased this portable clothesline and attached it to some cabinet handles. It worked very well. I can see where this clothesline would be great using trees. In our current park, clotheslines are against the rules. The roads are lined with rocks that create a lot of dust when vehicles travel over them, so the clothes would just get dirty again. Little mettle clothespins are included with the clothesline, and they do a great job. When my clothes are all dry I wind up the clothes line and return it to the provided bag, with the clothespins, and store it in my Zeny washer until the next time I do laundry. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it.We live full time in a motorhome. This is perfect for me to use inside or out. Easy to grab and set up.This is a great little clothesline, and it's useful to have 2 lines for camp sites where trees are spaced further apart, since each stretches to about 12 feet max and you could easily use 1-5 of those feet just for wrapping around the available trees. The little clamps in between the clothespins are both the best and worst thing about this clothesline. They're AMAZING because they keep the pins from all sliding to the lowest point of the line (and your clothes with them, so it keeps everything from ending up in a saggy heap in the middle). The downside, of course, is that if you want to move an item at one end, you sometimes have to move e.v.e.r.y. little clasp along the way to get things lined up. Overall it's worth the hassle since it means your clothes will end up far more dry, but *is* a bit of a hassle.My only (minor) wish is that this came in a small carry bag (it just comes in a plastic wrap that will probably rip when you open it, and is not intended for re-use). I've gotten other clotheslines that came in small carry bags, and found them helpful for keeping my gear organized when not in use. Still, that's just a wish; this still gets 5* from meGreat idea but the line won't hold a lot of weight without another support. The clips are good.I that it has Clips on it permanently. The problem is that it's too stretchy. If you put anything of any kind of a weight on it it will stretch down too far. We actually took it apart and used a cotton outdoor rope instead of the stretchy bungee cord. That has worked quite well.It’s perfect when you’re spending time outdoors. Used it on a camping trip and it dried the clothes with the help of the sun.These are amazing. They’re sturdy bungee cords with clips permanently attached that have little movable stoppers to keep the clips from moving or sliding. They hooks on the end can hook into something or wrap around and hook onto itself.I don’t think I’d be confident hanging wet jeans or coats on them but shirts, shorts, underthings and the like hold up well. Also, being bungees, I personally take them down when the laundry is done because I think the sun will eat them right up. If you’re looking for a quick and easy laundry line that you don’t want to install in a wall or stick in the ground, this is it. Easy and versatile.I put this in the RV and it works great. I wrapped it around a couple of thin trees, on their branches and had a few things on it already.I do car detailing and was looking for a better way to air dry my microfiber cloths after washing. Since microfiber cloths are delicate and using heat in a dryer would damage them, I needed a way to air dry them. I was hanging them on any surface I could find, but this portable clothesline has made it easy to hang the cloths to drying. The clothesline is made of a thick bungee like cord, so it can stretch. The clips are metal and feel sturdy and durable.I hung them across 2 beams in my basement, allowing me to hang dry up to 11 microfiber cloths.Because I don't use this outdoors, I don't really need the positioning beads but it do a good job of keeping the clips evenly divided when I put the clothesline away for storage. I can also see these clothesline would be great for travel and plan to take these with me on my next vacation. Many hotels and resorts don't have laundry services, so having a portable clothesline would come in handy to hang dry your swim suits or washed clothes.
